Financial Responsibilities
The Board of Governors is responsible for the effective and efficient use of resources, the solvency of the college group, and for safeguarding its assets. The Board is also responsible for approving the annual estimates of income and expenditure.

Code of Conduct
This Code is intended as a guide, to indicate the standards of conduct and accountability which are expected of Governors, to enable them to understand their legal and ethical duties and to assist them both in carrying out those duties and in their relationship with the Governing Body and Principal as the Chief Executive.

The Code of Good Governance for English Colleges
The Corporation adopted the Code of Good Governance for English Colleges in October 2015 and the subsequent amendments issued in 2019 and 2021. The Corporation will consider adopting the Further Education Code of Good
Governance during 2024.
