Altrad and the Education Training Collective (Etc.) are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of apprenticeship and upskilling programmes across the UK.
Working with a network of further education colleges and training providers, Altrad and Etc. will combine their expertise, resources, and regional reach to deliver high-quality training across multiple apprenticeship disciplines.

This partnership, led by Altrad and Etc., which was recently designated a Clean Energy Technical Excellence College by the Department for Education, has been developed as part of Altrad’s commitment to strengthening its training provision and address the evolving skills needs of both its workforce and client base nationwide.
Supported by a consortium of strategically selected colleges from across the UK, aligned with awarding bodies and training boards, the partnership will provide continued support for Altrad’s current and future apprenticeship requirement.
Following a rigorous selection process, Altrad identified Etc. as a partner capable of supporting its ambition to deliver consistent, high-quality apprenticeship programmes at scale.
Through this collaboration, Altrad and Etc. will deliver structured training aligned to operational priorities, ensuring apprentices gain the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to succeed.
By combining the consortium’s delivery expertise with Altrad’s industry experience, the partnership will strengthen both workforce development and future talent pipelines.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Etc. as we continue to invest in high-quality apprenticeship provision,” said John Walsh, CEO – Altrad UK, Ireland, Nordics & Poland.
“This represents a significant milestone, marking the first partnership of its kind in the UK. It reflects a shared commitment to addressing ongoing skills requirements within the industry and supporting sustainable workforce development over the long term.”
