Tell us how you came to be in your profession at the Etc.:

I left the voluntary sector after 20 years as a manager. Towards the end of my time there, we started to provide holistic support to refugee families. I started teaching basic English to whole families and really enjoyed it. I was made redundant and decided to retrain to teach ESOL

What I like best about Etc. as an employer is:

The opportunity to develop my skills as a research informed practitioner.
