Tell us how you came to be in your profession at the Etc.:

My partner worked at SRC and saw a vacancy advertised on Linkedin so sent the link over to me to have a look at.

At the time I was working in the private sector in logistics so had very little experience in the public sector but thought my experience and approach would suit the requirements of the role and I could do well here.

I had also never experienced an interview process like this before with tasks, presentations and in-depth interview. In previous roles and recruitment, it has been a fairly simple interview process. I do see how this is required, not only as this was a new role for the organization but also how tight the funding is so quite literally every penny is accounted for.

What I like best about Etc. as an employer is:

I feel appreciated in the role that I am in and the work I do matters, in my experience that’s not always the case in support roles.
