Stuart believes that organisations with a strong purpose, one that is clearly articulated, succeed and says of his appointment to the Etc. governing body: “One of the things that attracted me to the board of governors at Etc., in 2019, was its purpose and in particular the ‘Tone of Voice’ which is an important part of the culture here.

I love to work with organisations with a clear and strong purpose.

The Etc. provides the building blocks that people need in life to succeed – skills, training and opportunities to support them in achieving career aspirations. As a proud North Easterner, I am keen to showcase this area and the talent we have – it is vital everybody has the opportunity to succeed and achieve their best in life.”
