Ashleigh Peel-Lowes – Governor

Profile:

Ashleigh Peel-Lowes is Head of Strategy, Planning and Performance at the NHS Business Services Authority, where she leads the development of organisational strategy, business planning and performance reporting and assurance. With a career spanning both the public and private, she had an extensive career within the social housing sector including responsibilities for equality, diversity and inclusion.

Making a difference, learning from others and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes drives both her professional career and her role as an ETC governor. With previous experience as a school governor, Ashleigh joined the board in summer 2025; she is a strong advocate for continuous learning and development and believes that education, in its many forms, is extremely important in shaping lives, communities and economies, as well as raising aspirations and ambition.

Away from work, Ashleigh lives in Northumberland with her family and enjoys spending watching her son play football and time outdoors, particularly walking in the countryside and along the North East coast. Passionate about continuous learning and development, Ashleigh completed her MBA in 2022 and is currently furthering her knowledge of emerging technologies through the study of Artificial Intelligence at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She believes in lifelong learning for personal growth and effective leadership.
